Export Portfolio

The activities of more than 7,500 knowledge-based companies in Iran’s technology and innovation ecosystem have led to the production of more than 18,000 technological products in different technological fields such as chemical substances, electronics, advanced industrial equipment, information technology, medicine, food, and soft services.

These products, which can be used in various industrial and commercial areas, have been evaluated by the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-based Economy as meeting the following terms:

(1) production, at least at the laboratory level;

(2) high technological level;

(3) the company’s command of technical knowhow.

The CISTC has categorized the export capabilities of the knowledge-based companies and is implementing a plan, called “Export Baskets of Knowledge-Based Products,” to facilitate and streamline the export of the products to other countries.

The plan categorizes products based on their usage in 20 different industries and will include 20 books, one for each industry.

Each basket introduces the companies and those of their products that can be exported. So far, baskets of medicine, medical equipment, agriculture, food products, petroleum, gas and petrochemicals have been finalized.
